Are LU Libraries open to the public?
Because Langston University has been designated a Land Grant institution, the libraries of Langston University are open to the public. This open door policy with the general public makes them invaluable to the greater population since there is no public library in the Langston/Coyle area. Additionally, G. Lamar Harrison Library, the main library on campus, also serves as a regional repository. All resources (computers, books, and electronic resources) may be used freely while in one of the LU campus libraries. Members of the public may apply for a library courtesy card which makes them eligible to borrow materials.
